Alternatives in Education Grant
Attention Educators:
Animalearn is pleased to announce a special grant initiative, the Alternatives in Education Grant program, offered in conjunction with the Alternatives Research & Development Foundation (ARDF). Proposals are being requested for a grant to replace traditional use of animals for education and training purposes with alternatives.
Request for Proposals
Up to $10,000 in funding available to support individual projects
Deadline for Letter of Intent: January 8, 2010
Invited Full Proposals due: March 12, 2010
Notification of Recipients: April 23, 2010
Criteria:
Potential to significantly reduce or replace harmful use of animals in education and/or training
Scientific merit and feasibility
At this time, ARDF is accepting only the Letter of Intent form, which is available at

Grants from the Foundation are made only to individuals affiliated with a non-profit, tax-exempt, institution, organization, or foreign equivalent. Selected project sponsors will be notified by January 25, 2010 if they are invited to submit a full proposal.
